Photography for Empowerment

Phnom Penh Photography Collective, Cambodian Children’s Fund, and Kinin Collective are proud to announce the launch of Photography for Empowerment, a citywide photography exhibition opening August 30, 2025, across three unique venues — each with its own theme capturing the vibrant life, people, and heritage of Phnom Penh.

Over the past three months, the project has brought together professional and amateur photographers, CCF youth, and members of the public through workshops and guided photowalks. From riverside strolls to bustling market scenes, three themed walks produced more than 500 photographs, submitted through a public call for applications.

100% of proceeds go to Cambodian Children's Fund Photography and Media Club.

Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF)

Founded in 2004, CCF is a 501(c)(3) U.S. registered charity with a vision to lift the community of the former Steung Meanchey landfill out of poverty and into a new era of hope and possibility through the provision of education. Our approach is based on a fundamental belief that education will provide children pathways out of poverty. By developing the leadership potential of our students, leaders will emerge that will create generational change and a better future for Cambodia.
